Siemens and Microsoft hosted the WoT Week 2024. This year´s edition that took place from 25th to 29th November 2024, included a PlugFest, an "OpenDay", and face-to-face meetings with experts in the field for the very first time after COVID times. The W3C Web of Things (WoT) standards have been around for quite some while after SIEMENS launched the first version in a Siemens/W3C conference in 2019. Until then a lot has happened and WoT is taking off in all kinds of industry applications. This event aimed to showcase the successes with live demos, keynote speeches and expert panels.
In the framework of this event, Siemens organised the WoT Conference 2024 (WoT@Industry) on 27th November, where Haoyu Ren and Darko Anicic from SIEMENS introduced a NEPHELE demo on our energy use case (UC3) that aroused great interest from the audience. This conference took place in the Siemens Technology Center Garching, Friedrich-Ludwig-Bauer-Straße 3, 85748 Garching, Germany
