On May 21st 2024 at 16:00 CEST, NEPHELE participated in the online event "Research Meets Open Source - Breaking barriers with Eclipse Thingweb and NEPHELE" organised by Eclipse Foundation.
This was the first episode of a new webinar series which aims to encourage collaboration between researchers and well established open source projects. Each episode will feature one research project and one Eclipse open source project.
The agenda was the following:
- Talk 1 (Ege Korkan, Siemens): Eclipse Thingweb: Building interoperable IoT solutions at scale with the W3C Web of Things standards
- Talk 2 (Anastasios Zafeiropoulos, National Technical University of Athens): NEPHELE: An open-source IoT software stack and meta-orchestration platform for the computing continuum.
